Ronald Perelman

Ronald Owen Perelman (born January 1, 1943) is an American billionaire financier/corporate raider/private equity investor who made his fortune buying beleaguered corporations and re-selling them later for an enormous profit.[1] Despite his wishes to the contrary,[2] Ronald Perelman has constantly found himself in the headlines because of his billion-dollar business deals and million-dollar divorces. His collection of businesses has included such household names as Revlon, Technicolor, and Hummer. Once the richest man in America,[3] he is now tied for 40th place with an estimated wealth of USD$7 billion[4]. He also scrupulously observes the traditions of Judaism[5] and gives millions of dollars a year to charity.[6]
